A young poet, Kai, has a monkey on his back. He thinks completing his late mother's final rites might lift that weight. Returning to India for his father's marriage to a man named Mike seems the perfect opportunity to honor his dad's new life and fulfill his mother's wishes until her ashes get lost in transit. A funny and heartfelt journey to India that explores how words are never enough when it comes to family drama.
